Abstract

Background. Production of body parts for special production bears many technological difficulties associated with provision of certain shapes, precision, technical demands, optimal materials and terms.
Materials and methods. The research object is a technology of mechanical treatment of special products’ body parts. Analyzing the problem of mechanical treatment the authors considered existing technological solutions applied in production cycles of real enterprises.
Results. The article presents an overview of problems of mechanical treatment of body parts for special products and their solution at production enterprises at the stage of machining.
Conclusions. The suggested solutions make it possible to increase the quality of body parts processing and to improve machining productivity as a part of mechanical production.
